Is mTLS not supported in multicluster with single control plane VPN

is mTLS not supported in multicluster with single control plane VPN ?

I refer to


In my testbed, as soon as I turn on mTLS, I can’t curl anymore across clusters.

ok I just spotted the procedure to install istio differs to have mTLS & multicluster


Istio supports deployment of mutual TLS between the control plane components as well as between sidecar injected application pods.
