Installed Istio with helm on a hosted K8 cluster comprising 2 worker node and 1 master node running on ubuntu(CNI used is calico)

Would you tell us who is using the failing readiness probe you listed: http://172.168.1.53:8080/read.

Is that a readiness probe for your tushar-5 application?
