Istio Service Discovery - Semantic Versioning

Did a little search, but couldn’t find any mention anywhere.

Does Istio (1.0.6 or 1.1.1) provide support to Service Discovery based on Semantic Versioning?

What do you mean, “Service Discovery based on Semantic Versioning”? Istio allows you to define Subsets of a service with a DestinationRule using labels. If your services are identified by labels that follow semver, you can use that in defining your own Subsets.

I guess I am not clear on the last part. I will try it out and see how it goes.
