Short names for Istio CRDs

There are many resources defined in Istio such as VirtualService, ServiceEntry, DestinationRule and so on.
They don’t have short names, so it is not convenient to operate them through kubectl.

There is a PR for this, but still need more discussion about:

  • Which CRDs should be selected to add short names?
  • What short names are suitable for them?

I have a second item for kubectl get we can discuss at the UX meeting.

PR https://github.com/istio/istio/pull/11734 adds columns to to the short output. Perhaps we can discuss the proposed names and proposed columns together.
