Does anyone know if there is going to be a fix for the Azure SQL ServiceEntry problem. Problem being the redirect from the SQL gateway in Azure doesn’t work with the TCP SQL ServiceEntry. Most of our workloads need to access this service (not ideal I know , we are moving away from this pattern but for now we need it) . We had to apply the Envoy allow all egress but this is far from ideal as we loose these connections as they managed out side of istio.
Any news on this ? We are facing the same issue
