Hi,
I’m trying to use the latest istio release (1.17.0), and I always use the gcr.io/istio-release hub, in order to avoid the DockerHub pull limits.
The 1.16.3 version, that was released yesterday is there, but this specific version I cannot find.
Were there any changes related to the use of this registry in the 1.17.0 version?
All the available versions can be listed here: https://console.cloud.google.com/gcr/images/istio-release/global/pilot.

There was an issue with the publishing of the images and the gcr.io images were missed. I believe the 1.17.1 release which should be out real soon has a fix to make sure those are published again.

The images for 1.17.1 are now published to both locations.

Currently Istio is an OSS Sponsored project in Docker Hub so there should be no pull limits imposed on the public images.
