IstioOperator 1.6 ingress gateway and TLS

I have two operator related questions I have not been able to figure out:

  1. It seems 1.6.0 default profile does not create the Gateway resource for the istio-ingressgateway when using the operator. I can’t find any information whether this is purposeful or might be a bug.
  2. Is there any way to specify tls and credentialName as described here for the gateway with the IstioOperator CR ?
