Hi, what kind of editor are you using for editing the istio related YAML manifests? IntelliJ is good for editing general kubernetes manifests but fails with istio resource kinds.
Don’t use anything special honestly on our team. Some use vim I personally use Vscode with the kube extensions added but it also does not do anything magic for istio objects.
