The 1.20 release branch cut is planned for this week, Monday 10/16/2023.
No new feature requests will be accepted to the 1.20 branch, barring exceptions (Any requests for late arriving features must be approved by the TOC). Bug fixes cherry-picked into release-1.20 will mostly be accepted to the 1.20 branch. They must pass all required tests and be approved. For questions related to PR’s that need to be cherry-picked to the 1.20 branch, use the slack channel for the 1.20 release .
