We will have the Istio Networking WG meeting tomorrow at 11am PST. Please add topics to the agenda. So far we have:
- The Policy and Telemetry WG is interested in exposing telemetry about the virtual services, services, and destination rules that are involved in routing traffic from a source workload to a destination workload. We’ve been thinking that this information would surface as telemetry reported by the source workload. We’re happy to do the work to plumb this info through the Mixer pipeline, but need some help from the networking team to extract and deliver the core data to the Mixer client in the source workload&sidecar.
