Hi,
It seems there is regression in 1.8.1 for this feature. I tried to install Istio 1.8.1 with istioctl and set spec.components.pilot.k8s.resources.requests.cpu to '0.5' and 500m but it’s set to 1500m. Setting spec.components.pilot.k8s.resources.requests.memory works correctly. Can you investigate?
