Is any one got the 1.1 Soft multi-tenancy working ?
I don’t think istio support any multi-tenancy currently, I can not find any multi-tenancy related doc, blog, etc, and some istio resource are cluster level during istio installation/deleting, this will meet problem when you try to deploy more istio in one k8s cluster.
What do you mean by “multi-tenancy” or “soft multi-tenancy”?
Partially - using Sidecar for isolation. More resources need to be isolated.
We also have some support for multiple control planes in same cluster (sharing same root ca) on the new installer.
