Are there any documented metrics recording mesh performance results compared as trace sampling rate is increased for large volume meshes?

Interested in answering the question, “what is the cost of higher trace sampling rates?”.

Thought perhaps the community has already produced such data…thanks!

I believe there were numbers gathered for before / after we provided an easy way to control the sampling rate. And those numbers drove the decision to provide a default of 1%.

@mandarjog might have those numbers.
