Ambient Mesh Production Readiness

Hey there,

New to the blog but hopefully I’m not violating any rules or anything.

I recently became aware of an initiative at my org to leverage ambient mesh. Upon reviewing limitations in the experimental repo istio/README.md at 00a258fa90345eddfd1384d7b3cc74274e9157b9 · istio/istio · GitHub, I have some concerns around readiness/stability. Has anyone used ambient mesh at their org or outside of simple testing?

Are there any concerns that I am not seeing (namely security)?
