Announcing Istio 1.3 Testing Days

Please, mark your calendars for the following events!

We are ramping up community testing for Istio 1.3. Please join us in making Istio 1.3 the best release of Istio yet!

August 8, 2019 9:00 AM-1:00 PM PST: Istio.io Testing Automation Day
This event will focus on developing tests for the different tasks on Istio.io in order to automate the spreadsheet used for testing each Istio release during test days. This will reduce the amount of manual testing that needs to be done each release.

I’ve corrected the automation testing day to this Thursday, August 8 from 9:00AM-1:00PM PST.

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up for the Testing Automation Day. We now have a great start at a framework, several in progress tests, and also ongoing discussions on how the results of these tests will be integrated into the testing of the Istio website. These will all help to automate the process of testing the documentation and increase the speed and stability of future releases.
